Overview Junior HR Generalist - Base in Melbourne. Yunex Traffic is hiring a HR Generalist to join our fast-growing organization. This position is based in Melbourne CBD and reports to the HR Manager. The successful candidate will be responsible for HR end-to-end service for Melbourne and may extend to other regions. Responsibilities Work closely with and support the HR Manager on HR initiatives across all Australian businesses, mainly in the Melbourne office. Implement HR activities such as workforce planning, talent acquisition, onboarding and offboarding, performance management and other employee relations matters. Serve as the first point of contact for HR advice on employment legislation, HR system operations, HR policies and processes, and Employee Well-being programs. Assist with negotiating enterprise agreements with management teams. Maintain HRIS (SuccessFactors) with new hires and employee data changes. Support capability development initiatives, including training. Provide support to the management team and implement HR programs from the organizational strategy. Willingness to optimise processes and strive for continuous improvement. Skills and Qualifications Tertiary qualifications in a relevant field (HR, industrial relations, business management, law). 3+ years' experience in a HR generalist role within a sizable company, ideally in Engineering or a similar field. Ability to interpret and apply employment legislation such as Modern Awards and the Fair Work Act. Experience with EBA establishment and execution is preferred. Strong MS Office skills; knowledge of HRIS such as SuccessFactors is advantageous. Strong interpersonal skills and ability to build and maintain effective relationships with internal and external stakeholders at all levels.
