Hybrid Posted 2 days ago About the Role Reporting to the Financial Reporting Manager, you will play a critical role within Group Finance, ensuring the organisation meets its external reporting, audit, and regulatory obligations. This role is ideal for a technically strong accountant who thrives in complex environments and enjoys owning statutory reporting, consolidations, and compliance. This is a hands‑on position suited to someone who enjoys high‑quality financial reporting, problem‑solving, and continuous improvement within a collaborative team environment. Key Responsibilities Lead the preparation and delivery of annual consolidated financial statements for the organisation, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and timely reporting. Coordinate statutory and regulatory reporting Oversee and support the completion of government grants Provide technical accounting advice on complex transactions Support month‑end processes Assist the Financial Reporting Manager with finance projects Identify and contribute to continuous improvement Mentor and support junior team members through knowledge sharing and collaboration. About You You will be an experienced and detail‑oriented Senior Financial Accountant with the capability to manage multiple complex reporting requirements. Extensive experience preparing statutory consolidated financial statements for large or complex organisations. Strong knowledge of Australian Accounting Standards Excellent analytical skills and the ability to work effectively with large data sets. Demonstrated ability to manage competing priorities and deliver to strict deadlines. Strong communication skills with the ability to build relationships across all levels. Proven ability to work both autonomously and collaboratively in a dynamic environment. CA or CPA qualification (essential). Experience with SAP and/or large ERP systems (highly regarded).
