Why This Role Matters As our Health & Safety Advisor, you’ll play a critical role in keeping our people safe every day. You’ll be a trusted partner across the site—supporting teams, building capability, driving proactive safety initiatives, and helping shape a culture where everyone feels empowered to work safely. What You’ll Be Doing Champion Safe Work Practices Provide practical, expert guidance to teams across site and help embed strong, consistent health and safety standards. Facilitate constructive responses to safety events that focus on learning—not blame—while supporting improved work processes and behaviours. Partner with occupational health professionals, contribute to health surveillance programs, and help promote wellbeing initiatives across the workforce. Build Safety Capability Design and deliver engaging training in risk management, emergency response, and safe systems of work—building confidence and capability at all levels. Strengthen Injury Management & Preparedness Provide injury management support, first aid response, and contribute to effective return‑to‑work processes. Assist with emergency response drills, planning, and readiness across the site. Turn Insights Into Action Collect, analyse, and report safety data to support compliance and drive meaningful improvement. What You’ll Bring Qualifications in WHS, Science, Engineering or related field—or equivalent experience. Strong working knowledge of safety legislation and confidence applying this in a practical, people‑focused way. Experience working within safety management systems, conducting learning‑focused investigations, and contributing to ongoing improvement. Excellent communication, relationship‑building and influencing skills, with the ability to engage effectively across all levels of the business.
