Key Responsibilities Provide day-to-day technical support for hardware, software, and IT systems. Respond to service desk calls promptly, delivering Level 1 and Level 2 desktop support. Install, connect, and maintain IT devices and systems, ensuring optimal performance. Troubleshoot and repair hardware/software issues according to standard procedures. Assist with IT projects, system upgrades, and improvements. Maintain support documentation to minimise service disruptions and recurring issues. Collaborate with the Service Management team to improve IT processes and deliver excellent customer service. Promote the IT team as a solutions provider for technology needs across the organisation. About You We Are Looking For Someone Who Has tertiary qualifications in IT or significant experience in the IT field. Possesses ITIL Foundation knowledge and a C Class Driver’s Licence. Is skilled in Microsoft Networks/OS, Microsoft Office, and Citrix environments. Demonstrates strong customer focus and excellent problem-solving skills.Is confident using technology and keen to support the introduction of new tools to improve efficiency. Can communicate effectively and work collaboratively with colleagues and stakeholders. Desirable ITIL Certification and Microsoft desktop certifications. Experience in Local Government or similar organisations. 3+ years’ experience in IT support roles. Capabilities We Value Lead Self: Takes initiative on projects and tasks.
