Job Description Join the culinary team at Sofitel Gold Coast Broadbeach and showcase your skills in a five‑star luxury setting where French elegance meets coastal charm. We currently have two casual opportunities available – one supporting our buffet breakfast service , and one for à la carte lunch and dinner in our signature restaurant. As a Demi Chef, You Will Prepare and cook a diverse range of dishes with flawless execution and attention to timing. Support the Chef de Partie in delivering elegant, French‑inspired cuisine across buffet or à la carte service. Collaborate with a passionate kitchen team to ensure consistency in taste, texture, and presentation. Uphold the highest standards of hygiene, HACCP, organisation, and efficiency. Contribute to a culture of creativity, teamwork, and pride in every service. Qualifications Qualified Demi Chef with previous experience in luxury hotels or premium dining. Passion for either breakfast buffet or à la carte dining, showcasing precision and flair. Appreciation for French‑inspired flavours, fresh local produce, and seasonal creativity. Exceptional attention to detail and presentation. Strong communication and teamwork skills. Commitment to maintaining high standards of food safety and quality. A genuine passion for hospitality and commitment to exceeding guest expectations. Flexibility to work a rotating roster including weekends, evenings and event schedules as required.
