City of Newcastle (CN) currently has a unique opportunity for a dynamic and experienced Retail Hospitality Coordinator to join our Civic Services team for 6 months from January 2026. Leading retail, food, and beverage operations across Civic Theatre, City Hall, and other relevant CN venues, you’ll coordinate onboarding and training, manage team rosters, and oversee day-to-day priorities to ensure high-quality service across all venues. You’ll be the main point of contact for all retail hospitality enquiries, foster a culture of continuous improvement, and maintain compliance with RSA and WHS standards. This role is all about creating a welcoming, safe, and professional environment while ensuring seamless service delivery for every event and customer interaction and your ability to collaborate with internal teams and external stakeholders will be key to delivering memorable experiences for our community and guests.
