Telecommunications Team Leader - Northern Sector Join to apply for the Telecommunications Team Leader - Northern Sector role at NSW Health Employment Details Employment Type : Permanent Full Time Position Classification : Telephonist Level 3 Remuneration : $72,365.94 - $73,814.94 per annum plus superannuation Hours Per Week : 38 Location : Prince of Wales Hospital Applications close : Friday 19 December 2025 The Role The Telecommunications Team Leader is responsible for the day‑to‑day running of the Switchboard and Telecommunication Services. These incorporate PABX/VoIP/Spectralink telephone services, MIE (Message Integration Engine) and Paging services, emergency communication and general telecommunication policies and procedures development and training. Selection Criteria Relevant qualification and/or experience in a Supervisor/Team Leader role. Relevant qualification and/or experience with Telecommunications technology. Demonstrated ability to operate in a busy Switchboard environment. Ability to carry out and assist in developing emergency/disaster procedures. Sound knowledge of computer software packages. Demonstrated ability to work a 24 hour rotating roster and undertake on call responsibilities. Current NSW Drivers Licence (P1 and P2 licence acceptable), and/or willingness to travel in accordance with the demands of the position.
