The Role We're looking for a hands‑on Product Development Specialist to join our growing team in Sydney. If you love the science of ingredients, get excited about building new formulas, and enjoy collaborating directly with entrepreneurs bringing bold ideas to life — this role is for you. You will work across formulation, sourcing, sample development, and regulatory checks to make sure every product not only tastes great and performs well, but also meets FSANZ standards and is ready for commercial production. What You’ll Do Work with startup founders and brand owners to build detailed product briefs. Formulate innovative blends for powders, nutritional supplements, and wellness products. Source and evaluate ingredients that balance function, taste, and cost. Develop samples, refine prototypes, and manage feedback loops with clients. Create Nutrition Information Panels (NIP) and ensure FSANZ and labelling compliance. Support the transition from concept to full‑scale production. Stay ahead of market trends and emerging ingredients in the supplement and wellness space. What You’ll Bring A degree in Food Science, Nutrition, or similar. 2–4 years’ experience in NPD, formulation, or technical support within food or supplements. Solid understanding of FSANZ rules and food labelling standards. Creative problem‑solving mindset and an eye for commercial practicality. Excellent communication skills — comfortable talking science and business. High attention to detail and passion for product quality.
