The Role Reporting to the Executive Chef, as Sous Chef you will assist to foster a motivated team who provide the highest quality food experience that celebrates the best of Australian cuisine. Your responsibilities will include: Pioneering the guest satisfaction at CC’s Bar and Grill by delivering exceptional culinary experiences. Cultivating a culture of innovation and a penchant for pushing culinary boundaries. Providing hands-on leadership during all service periods and shifts. Collaborate closely with the F&B Service leadership team. Ensuring rigorous departmental training aligns with our high standards. Foster seamless communication and coordination with all hotel departments. Overseeing workplace health and safety procedures. Contribute to the development of seasonal menus, promotional packages and event offerings that reflect current trends and guest preferences Partner with the Executive Chef on budgeting, forecasting and cost controls to support financial objectives Support the effective procurement, production and presentation of all culinary delights Lead and maintain food safety and hygiene practices, ensuring compliance with all regulatory requirements Inspire and cultivate a highly engaged team with a strong local reputation, attracting and retaining top culinary talent About you Your talents include the following: Minimum Certificate 3 Commercial Cookery Proven leader who will drive the kitchen brigade and foster a positive and disciplined culture to produce award winning cuisine.
