Category Manager – MRO Michael Page About Our Client Our client is a well‑established organisation within the Energy & Natural Resources industry. They are known for their commitment to innovation and operational excellence. Job Description Develop and implement category strategies for Maintenance, Repair, and Operations (MRO) within the Procurement team. Manage supplier relationships to ensure cost efficiency and quality service delivery. Conduct market analysis to identify sourcing opportunities and mitigate risks. Negotiate contracts with suppliers to secure favourable terms and conditions. Collaborate with internal stakeholders to align procurement activities with business goals. Monitor and evaluate supplier performance to ensure compliance with agreements. Identify cost‑saving opportunities and drive continuous improvement initiatives. Ensure compliance with industry regulations and company policies within the Energy & Natural Resources sector. Qualifications Proven experience in end‑to‑end procurement. Strong knowledge of MRO procurement processes and strategies. Excellent negotiation and supplier relationship management skills. Demonstrated ability to analyse market trends and implement cost‑effective solutions. Proficiency in procurement systems and tools. A relevant tertiary qualification in supply chain management, business, or a related discipline. Strong communication and stakeholder engagement skills.
