Nepean Hospital is a teaching hospital that provides tertiary referral services in emergency care, coronary care, diagnostics, gynaecology, paediatric, neonatal intensive care/ICU, maternity, mental health, rehabilitation, and surgery. The Nepean Campus has recently experienced tremendous growth and aims to support communities within and outside of Sydney’s western suburbs, providing world-class clinical facilities, services, and care. An exciting opportunity is available to join the Patient Enquiry team at Nepean Hospital as a part-time Receptionist. In this frontline role, you will provide face‑to‑face assistance to patients and visitors, offering clear information about departments and patient whereabouts, while also managing enquiry phone calls with professionalism and care. The Patient Enquiry service plays a vital role in supporting hospital operations, including parking validations and passes, booking couriers, dispensing taxi vouchers, and assisting Official Visitors. As a Receptionist, you will be an essential point of contact, ensuring a welcoming and efficient experience for all who engage with the service. The successful applicant will work 7 shifts of 8 hours each fortnight, equating to 14 shifts across a 4‑week roster. Service hours operate Monday to Sunday, between 7:30 am and 8:00 pm, offering a dynamic and varied work environment.
