About the CompanyGoodman Fielder Australia (GFA) is one of the largest branded food manufacturers and suppliers in Australia, serving customer needs with a portfolio of iconic, trusted food brands that Australians have grown up with and enjoy every day. We have 12 manufacturing sites and over 1,500 employees who produce a wide range of high quality baked and grocery items including bread, spreads, flour, dips, dressings, mayonnaise, frozen pasty, cake mix, and cooking oils. Our company occupies the number one or number two positions in most of the larger product categories in which it competes, with sales to almost 8,000 outlets in Australia every day including supermarkets, route outlets and food service customers.At Goodman Fielder our aspiration is to be the leading integrated food business in the Region. We drive change as an opportunity for us to innovate and transform our business and to achieve beyond what we think is possible.About the roleWe are currently seeking a National Business Manager to join our food service team to lead our distributor channel. The NBM will Lead the customer relationship to drive long term profitable growth within the channel, will set the strategy, drive the cross functional teams to deliver, and influence internal and external stakeholders to deliver on the strategy.Specifically you willManage the Senior customer relationships to facilitate the delivery of strategic imperativesSet the 3 year Distributor channel strategyConsistently review the in-year plan, and check and adjust the requirements based on risks and opportunities in order to meet calendar year financial budgetAct as coach and mentor to the sales and cross functional teamsDevelop a long-term customer plan/strategy to meet GF objectives in the context of the customers long term strategy and KPI'sAbout you3+ years at National Business Manager position (or similar)Experience within the large distributor network (Bidfoods, Countrywide, PFD etc) preferredStrong internal and external stakeholder management (essential)Demonstrated experience in line with technical and leadership competenciesExperience working with major retailersUnderstanding of end-to-end supply chain drivers within FMCG (preferred)Experience managing a team (essential)What can we offer you?With continual growth and new product development on the horizon, you will experience an innovative and autonomous environment where you are a valued part of our overall success.
