Overview Join WA’s Leading Refrigerated Logistics Provider Sands Fridge Lines is seeking a motivated and experienced Quality Compliance Officer to champion food safety, compliance, and quality standards across our warehouse and transport operations. This is a hands-on role where you’ll work closely with supervisors and section leaders to maintain SQF and HACCP systems, drive continuous improvement, and uphold our strong industry reputation. Key Responsibilities Maintain and improve SQF, HACCP, and Quality Management Systems in our warehouse and transport distribution network. Conduct internal GMP and food safety audits; lead external audits Monitor hygiene, food safety, allergen management, and temperature compliance Investigate non-conformances and implement corrective actions Develop and deliver compliance training and toolbox meetings Prepare and enforce food health and safety policies Collaborate with management on emergency action plans and compliance reporting Qualifications Tertiary qualifications in Food Science, Food Technology, Microbiology or equivalent (highly desirable) Demonstrable exposure and understanding of HACCP / SQF quality compliance practices in the transport, distribution and storage of perishable goods Strong understanding of HACCP, SQF, and GHP principles Experience implementing and monitoring Quality Management Systems Skilled in internal/external audits and compliance investigations Excellent communication, problem-solving, and time management skills Warehousing, Transport and distribution experience highly regarded About Sands Fridge Lines We are a family-owned logistics business with over 40 years of experience providing chilled, frozen, and ambient warehousing and transport services to major Australian and international brands.
