Better Connected Community Services – Rockdale NSW Better Connected Community Services (BCCS) is a not-for-profit organisation providing aged care, family, and community programs across South Eastern Sydney. We are dedicated to strengthening community wellbeing and independence through connection, inclusion, and support. We are seeking an experienced Quality and Compliance Officer to support the ongoing development, monitoring, and improvement of our Quality Management System (QMS). This role plays a vital part in ensuring BCCS meets its compliance obligations under the Aged Care Quality Standards, TEI, and other regulatory frameworks while fostering a culture of quality, safety, and continuous improvement. Key Responsibilities Support the implementation and enhancement of the BCCS Quality Management System (QMS). Coordinate internal audits, compliance reviews, and follow-up actions. Review and maintain organisational policies and procedures. Manage compliance and risk registers, ensuring obligations are tracked and met. Support complaints management, WHS processes, and continuous improvement initiatives. Provide quality and compliance reports to the CEO and Executive team. Promote a culture of accountability, learning, and improvement across all programs. Selection Criteria Demonstrated experience in quality, compliance, or governance within community or aged care sectors. Sound understanding of Aged Care Quality Standards, ISO9001, and continuous improvement frameworks. Strong attention to detail, analytical and documentation skills. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Strong organisational and time management skills. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and data management systems. Qualifications in Quality Management, Compliance, Community Services, or a related field. Experience in auditing, risk management, or policy development. Familiarity with TEI, CHSP, or Home Care regulatory frameworks.
