Discover the project here: The Opportunity As Resident Concierge , you will be the heart and soul of the resident experience — the first impression, the problem-solver, the person who notices the little things and always finds a way to help. Your work will directly impact the lives of our residents and their families by making everyday experiences smoother, more enjoyable, and deeply personalised. Key Responsibilities Concierge & Personal Services Be the warm, welcoming point of contact for residents, families, and guests. Coordinate personalised services including bookings, dining, laundry, transport, and more. Liaise with internal departments to ensure seamless service across the community. Help residents navigate both internal and local services – from medical appointments to haircuts and happy hours. Events & Community Life Plan and execute resident events, activities, and gatherings — from movie nights in the cinema to wine tastings and wellness sessions. Support group outings and transport coordination, encouraging connection and engagement. Help maintain beautifully presented common spaces that feel inviting and premium. Administrative & Operational Support Maintain accurate records of resident preferences, appointments, and service requests. Support communication of community updates and ensure alignment with resident expectations. Help ensure residents understand and benefit from our inclusive ‘fixed for life’ service model. Wellness, Safety & Support Observe and report any health or safety concerns proactively. Respond to emergencies with calm professionalism, following safety protocols. Collaborate with the General Manager and wellness teams to uphold the highest care standards. As Resident Concierge, you are the reassuring, dependable presence that helps make that transition joyful. Your role is the thread that ties everything together. Whether it’s responding to a small request with speed and care, or going the extra mile to surprise a resident with a thoughtful gesture, you’re helping them feel not just supported — but seen. You are also a key bridge between departments. You’ll work closely with hospitality, care, maintenance, and wellness teams to ensure every detail is aligned. That means tracking preferences, anticipating needs, and gently advocating for resident satisfaction. What We’re Looking For Previous experience in customer service, hospitality, or concierge roles, ideally within healthcare, aged care or retirement living settings. Strong organisational and multitasking skills. Current First Aid certificate, or willingness to obtain this prior to commencing. A caring, empathetic attitude with a commitment to providing high-quality service. Understanding of and commitment to adhering to Aged Care Quality Standards, Retirement Living Industry best practices, and accreditation requirements. Demonstrated commitment to continuous improvement processes and practices. Highly developed communication skills, both written and verbal. Proven ability to effectively influence and collaborate with staff who are not direct reports. Experience working in a retirement living community or similar environment. Knowledge of health and wellness services and retirement community dynamics. A valid driver’s licence for assisting with transportation needs is a plus. Why Work at Hyegrove?
