Job ID: Posted: 15-Oct-2025 Location: Melbourne - Victoria - Australia About the Role The Resource Manager is a key role within the Data Centre Solutions (DCS) team at CBRE Asia Pacific, offering leadership and guidance to ensure outstanding service delivery. The role reports directly to both the Alliance Manager and Area General Manager and is tasked with overseeing all contractual service commitments, SLAs, and KPIs. The resource manager ensures effective teamwork, enhances employee engagement, monitors individual performance and development, and improves retention. What You’ll Do Ensure safety and competency assurance of CBRE employees through active monitoring, audit, and incident analysis. Maintain strong relationships with customer site managers to understand and meet delivery requirements. Support the on‑site team by providing resolution pathways for training, development, and employee matters, including apprentice internal and external training. Monitor employee workload, utilisation, and overtime hours. Oversee resource demand and vacancies, supporting the recruitment process to ensure timely appointment of quality candidates. Produce monthly/quarterly/annual reporting and participate in customer contract review meetings, KPI reporting. Oversee incident investigation, reporting, and governance for CBRE and support customer event investigations. Maintain employee rostering accuracy in the TANDA system, including approvals and invoice claims. Act as a subject matter expert for the apprentice scheme and support trainees through their apprenticeships. Keep industry knowledge up‑to‑date via strong relationships with external stakeholders such as MEGT and RTOs. What You’ll Need Bachelor’s degree in human resource management, business, management, or a similar field, and/or five or more years’ experience leading large site‑based teams operating in the critical infrastructure or ICT industry. Previous experience as a team manager or service delivery manager is essential, plus a datacentre background is advantageous. Strong people leadership and relationship management skills. Commercial experience gained in a service‑based contracting environment, preferably within the datacentre industry. Knowledge of applicable labour laws, including Fair Work Act and NES. Understanding of Australian apprenticeship frameworks, pathways, and funding. Sound knowledge of QHSE management legislation and practices, ideally gained within the mechanical (HVAC) and electrical work environment. Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to operate comfortably at multiple levels within CBRE and customer organisations.
