Job Description Oversee and manage daily logistics operations to ensure efficiency and effectiveness. Develop and implement strategies to optimise transport and distribution processes. Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and safety standards in the logistics department. Collaborate with internal teams to ensure seamless communication and operations. Monitor and manage budgets to control operational costs effectively. Analyse performance metrics and identify areas for improvement. Lead and mentor a team to achieve operational goals and objectives. Resolve operational challenges promptly to maintain service quality. The Successful Applicant A Successful Operations Manager Should Have Proven experience in logistics, particularly within the transport and distribution industry. Strong leadership and team management skills. Excellent knowledge of operational processes and procedures. Proficiency in budgeting and cost control. Strong problem‑solving and decision‑making abilities. Familiarity with compliance and safety standards in logistics. Effective communication and organisational skills. A relevant qualification in logistics, supply chain management, or a related field. What’s on Offer Competitive salary ranging from $120,000 to $140,000 AUD. Permanent role based in Canberra.
