Do you love doing Craft, Chatting and a Cuppa If you would like to connect with older people who are socially isolated, we would love to hear from you An opportunity to gain experience in the aged care sector An opportunity to make a positive impact in your community and in the life of someone else Supervision and opportunities for learning and development In recent years, our customer Vera’s reduced mobility has impacted her ability to participate in her hobbies and interests. Vera feels most at home doing craft and chatting over a cuppa. Vera would like a fellow craft enthusiast to support her in reconnecting with these interests and to perhaps go out and visit shops like Lincraft and Spotlight. If you have an interest in supporting people 65+ to reconnect with their interests and community, please apply We offer opportunities in skill and knowledge development, as well as ongoing support and mentoring. Good communications skills and the ability to work independently are a must. Having a driver’s licence/access to your own vehicle is highly desired but not essential. We value diversity in lived experience, language, skills and abilities.
