As we scale across Melbourne and the Philippines, we’re building our people capability to match - and we’re looking for a People & Culture Business Partner who’s ready to shape something meaningful from the ground up. This is a rare mix of hands-on execution, genuine ownership, and real influence from day one. We’re growing quickly, and our people systems need to catch up. We need someone who can help turn our intentions into clear, scalable practices across recruitment, onboarding, performance, and culture. Your work will shape: How new people join, How leaders develop, How teams work together, How culture feels day to day, and How we build capability for the next chapter. If you’ve ever wanted to "build the P&C function you wish you’d walked into", this is the role. What You’ll Do You’ll be responsible for both operational HR support and strategic people initiatives, including: Support and coach leaders on everyday people matters. Own the employee lifecycle - onboarding, compliance, documentation, probation, exits. Lead recruitment across Australia and the Philippines and uplift our recruitment brand (EVP, website, socials). Build a structured onboarding experience that sets people up for success. Design and embed performance rhythms and capability tiers. Strengthen culture through values, communication rhythms and engagement initiatives. Maintain HR systems and partner with our Philippines-based HR Assistant. Help shape people processes as the firm scales. Experience That Will Help You Succeed You don’t need ten years of experience - you need curiosity, maturity, and the appetite to build. Around 4+ years in HR, People & Culture or generalist roles Confidence in recruitment and onboarding Experience supporting leaders on performance and development Understanding of HR policies, compliance, and people operations Exposure to culture, engagement, or learning initiatives Strong communication skills and emotional intelligence A builder’s mindset and comfort navigating ambiguity What You'll Love About Working with Us Direct access to the COO and leadership team High-trust environment with autonomy and support A role that grows as the business grows Weekly check-ins and collaboration with Operations Office on St Kilda Road next to the Botanic Gardens Hybrid working (minimum 4 days in office to support culture) An opportunity to create structure, not inherit it If you’re hungry to grow, excited to build, and ready to make your mark on a firm with big ambitions - we’d love to meet you.
