Council of the City of Sydney, Österreich Vipeople Vollzeit

General Manager @ Spark Event Group | Event & Venue | Workforce & Management Solutions Location : Sydney Olympic Park Be at the heart of Australia's biggest events & venues At Spark Event Group & VIPeople, we exist to enhance the human experience and quality of events. We're trusted by major venues and event organisers across the country to deliver exceptional end-to-end solutions – from event management and operations to providing top-tier customer service teams. Our values Support, Passion, Accountability, Respect and Kollaboration (yes, with a "K" — because we do things differently) are at the heart of everything we do. With an unwavering commitment to quality, personal growth, and ethical social practices, we bring together the best in the business to create unforgettable experiences. Now, we're looking for an energetic, highly organised Workforce Coordinator to join our Sydney team and play a vital role in shaping the workforce experience at some of Australia's most iconic venues and events. About the Role As a Workforce Coordinator, you'll be the bridge between our people, clients, and events. You'll lead rostering and workforce allocation, support recruitment and staff engagement, and be a presence on‑site to make sure everything runs smoothly. This isn't a Monday-to-Friday desk job — it's a fast‑paced, hands‑on role where flexibility is key. One day you'll be rostering hundreds of casual staff for a stadium event, and the next you'll be on‑site ensuring supervisors and teams are equipped to deliver outstanding service. What You'll Do Coordinate rostering, scheduling, and workforce allocation through Rosterfy. Engage, assess, and support staff through communications, training, and feedback. Assist with recruitment, interviews, onboarding, and compliance checks. Manage event day workforce operations, including pre‑event documentation, briefings, and on‑site support – often on weekends. Build strong relationships with venue partners, supervisors, and staff. Ensure accurate post‑event reporting, timesheets, and payroll support. Maintain staff databases, uniforms, and workforce resources. Opportunities to support the Event Management department with event planning, operations and site logistics across key local events within its portfolio. About You Qualifications or demonstrated experience in Event Management, Hospitality, Business, HR, Tourism, or a related field. Minimum 3 years' experience in the events industry. Skilled in building positive relationships with stakeholders, staff, and clients. Strong organisational and administrative skills, with a keen eye for detail. Tech‑savvy, adaptable, and confident learning new systems. A team player with a positive, "no‑fuss" attitude. Passionate about events and motivated to grow your career in the industry. Why Join Us? This is your chance to be part of Australia's premier event workforce and management company. You'll work alongside some of the best in the industry, enjoy variety in your role, and contribute to delivering extraordinary experiences for millions of people. At Spark Event Group & VIPeople, we celebrate diversity and foster an inclusive workplace where everyone can thrive. If you're passionate, driven, and ready to take the next step in your events career, we'd love to hear from you.
