Permanent Full-Time position – Full time onsite role About the Company Our client is a well-established structural engineering firm with an 18-year history and a team of 50-55 staff. The business has built a strong reputation for excellence within the engineering industry. About the Role An exciting opportunity has become available for a Bookkeeper / Office Admin to join their Melbourne CBD office. The successful candidate will be process-driven and highly organised. Key Responsibilities Process accounts receivable, accounts payable and monthly payroll. Complete bank reconciliations and BAS lodgements. Assist with end-of-financial-year processes (journal entries provided by accountant). Prepare and track Excel-based reports, including formulas and VLOOKUPs. Learn and use Total Synergy software (training provided). Maintain office upkeep and general administrative tasks. Order stationery and supplies as required. Answer phones and handle reception duties when needed. Support the team with a “no job too small” mindset. About You Methodical, process-driven, and able to work independently. Background in construction, engineering, or architecture preferred but not essential. Qualifications: Certificate IV in Accounting or master’s in accounting. Comprehensive handover from the current bookkeeper who is retiring (covering two payroll cycles and two end-of-month processes). Hours: 8:30am – 5:00pm, Monday to Friday.
