Clinical Nurse Specialist - Mental Health (Youth Inpatient Unit) CRVCID This is a Permanent Full Time appointment. We are currently seeking an experienced Clinical Nurse Specialist to join our dynamic team at Fiona Stanley Hospital in the Mental Health, Youth Inpatient Unit. Ideal Candidate In partnership with the Nurse Unit Manager (NUM), be responsible for the delivery of quality patient care within their speciality; Support the NUM by supervising the delivery of quality patient care, through developing standards of practice, implementing changes to clinical practice, education of staff and initiating research and quality improvement activities; Be responsible for the provision of Youth expertise; As a senior nurse have professional accountability to the Director of Nursing and Midwifery and provide mentorship and role modelling for nurses, as well as contribute to the advancement of the profession, in keeping with the vision and values for Fiona Stanley Nursing. Fiona Stanley Hospital (FSH) is a 783-bed tertiary hospital offering a range of health services including the State Rehabilitation Service, a comprehensive cancer centre, purpose-built mental health unit, maternity, paediatric and neonatal services, and the State Adult Burns Service. FSH also delivers specialised services such as heart and lung transplantations and hyperbaric medicine. SMHS delivers quality, safe and effective hospital and health services within a catchment area stretching more than 3300 square kilometres across the southern half of Perth.
