HR Coordinator / Junior HR Business Partner – Luxury Retail | Sydney CBD Are you a proactive and detail‑oriented HR professional looking to take the next step in your career? Join a globally recognised luxury retail brand in a dynamic HR role that offers exposure across the full employee lifecycle, payroll, and compliance. This is a 12-month fixed-term contract offering a competitive salary of $80,000–$90,000 plus super , depending on experience. About the Role This is a hands‑on, generalist HR role supporting the HR Manager across Australia and New Zealand. You’ll be involved in everything from payroll and recruitment to onboarding, compliance, and workplace safety. Key Responsibilities Payroll & Reporting Coordinate and process end‑to‑end fortnightly and monthly payroll in collaboration with the HR Manager. Ensure payroll accuracy, compliance, and timely reporting. Prepare payroll reports and support audits and reconciliations. Recruitment & Talent Acquisition Support managers with recruitment needs across retail and functions. Draft and post job advertisements, screen applicants, and conduct phone interviews. Manage the full recruitment cycle including onboarding and off‑boarding. HR Administration & Records Maintain accurate employee records and HR documentation. Assist with employment contracts, letters of offer, and changes to employment. Ensure compliance with HR policies and employment legislation. Workplace Health & Safety Promote and support WHS initiatives across all locations. Assist with incident reporting, risk assessments, and safety compliance. Help foster a culture of safety and wellbeing. About You Experience in a similar HR generalist or coordinator role. Familiarity with payroll processes and HRIS systems. Strong communication and stakeholder engagement skills. Highly organised with strong attention to detail. Knowledge of Australian and New Zealand employment legislation and WHS standards.
