This brand-new role offers the chance to shape and deliver advanced, evidence-based palliative care within an extended scope of practice. You’ll provide high‑quality clinical care that improves patient comfort, enhances continuity, and increases timely access to specialist support. This is an exciting opportunity to develop a brand‑new Nurse Practitioner Model of Care for Maitland Hospital and the local community. Essential Requirements Current Registration as a Registered Nurse with AHPRA and current endorsement as a Nurse Practitioner or, if transitional, evidence of substantial progress towards endorsement. If not endorsed, the Transitional Nurse Practitioner will be appointed temporarily (up to 3 years) to work towards endorsement as a Nurse Practitioner. Post Graduate qualification in Palliative Care or evidence of working towards attainment with at least 5 years full‑time post‑registration experience.
