Product Consultant

This role works together with the Product Manager, contributing to requirements documentation, product roadmap planning, and supporting integration projects with OEMs and third-party providers. As a bridge between customers, internal stakeholders, and the development team, the Product Consultant ensures that business requirements are clearly understood, accurately documented, and effectively delivered through the product lifecycle. As a bridge between customers, internal stakeholders, and the development team, the Product Consultant ensures that business requirements are clearly understood, accurately documented, and effectively delivered through the product lifecycle. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES Requirements Gathering & Documentation Collaborate with Product Managers, developers, and customers to capture and document business and technical requirements. Translate customer needs into clear, actionable specifications for development teams. Maintain and refine product documentation, including feature definitions, workflows, and integration requirements. Product Roadmap & Strategy Assist the Product Manager in defining and maintaining the product roadmap. Contribute insights on API enhancements, OEM integrations, and partnership opportunities. Support prioritisation of development activities based on business value, customer impact, and technical feasibility. Integrations & API Projects Work closely with development teams on API and integration projects with OEMs and third-party vendors. Assist in technical discovery, data mapping, and testing processes to ensure successful integration outcomes. Stakeholder Communication Act as a liaison between customers, product, and development teams. Ensure alignment of expectations and clarity of deliverables across all stakeholders. Participate in workshops, demonstrations, and review sessions to validate solutions against requirements. Continuous Improvement Identify opportunities for process improvement across the product lifecycle. Contribute to product knowledge bases, user guides, and training materials as needed. Information Security Follow company security policies and complete mandatory security awareness training. Report suspicious activities, phishing attempts, or security incidents immediately. Handle company and customer data securely, ensuring confidentiality. Use only authorised applications and systems for work‑related activities. Use strong passwords and multi‑factor authentication (MFA) where required. Do not share login credentials or access unauthorised systems. Lock devices when unattended and secure physical documents. Follow security protocols when accessing company systems remotely. SKILLS, QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE Education Bachelor's degree in Business, Information Systems, Computer Science, or a related discipline. Graduates are welcome to apply if they have demonstrated practical experience. Experience 1–3 years of experience in a Business Analyst, Integration, or Product environment preferred. Exposure to API technologies, data integration, or automotive/OEM systems is advantageous. Technical Competencies Familiarity with API structures (REST, JSON, SOAP) and integration concepts. Basic understanding of SDLC and agile methodologies. Strong analytical and documentation skills using tools like Confluence, Jira, or similar. Soft Skills Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Strong attention to detail and problem‑solving ability. Ability to translate technical details into business language. Collaborative mindset and ability to work cross‑functionally.
