Exciting permanent full-time opportunity to oversee the successful delivery of large scale, complex Information Management (IM) and Information and Communication Technology (ICT) Fee for Service programs and projects by ensuring they are completed successfully within agreed performance criteria to enable enhanced health service delivery.The roleReporting to the Executive Director you will lead the development and deployment of enterprise ready applications by managing a team of project and program managers and key project resources of expert software designers and developers at a strategic and operational level to:Meet customer requirementsEnsure conformance to defined standards of quality and performanceEnsure compliance with Queensland Health's enterprise architectureEnable a connected and interoperable applications environment across Queensland Health, and the broader Health environment.Are you right for this role?To be successful in the role, you will have:Demonstrated high level leadership, conceptualisation and design of programs comprising multiple large Fee for Service, complex and high-risk programs.Demonstrated program management skills and experience through all phases of the life cycle, with a proven record of achieving successful and effective program outcomes that are aligned with organisational objectives within a large, complex and distributed service delivery organisation.Proven ability to lead, manage and nurture multi-disciplinary project teams, and demonstrated experience in managing a major program budget in the development of successful enterprise solutions, that are responsive to customer needs and sustainable in a large, complex organisational environment, preferably in health care.Demonstrated superior negotiation, consultation, facilitation and written communication skills, with the proven ability to develop effective working and strategic relationships and partnerships with a wide variety of senior internal and external stakeholders in an overall environment of change and evolution.Demonstrated expert knowledge and application of project management methodologies, and the development of associated tools, templates procedures etc. that enable projects to be managed in a consistent way.Sound knowledge of, or the ability to rapidly acquire knowledge of Queensland Health's IM/ICT strategies, architectures, formal project management approach and formal reporting framework and their impact on health service delivery in QueenslandAbout eHealth Queensland:eHealth Queensland is one of the largest Information Communication Technology operations in the state.
