The company’s Software platform gathers data from its on‑farm monitors and converts it to actionable insights that inform better farm management decisions and actively engages the customer for better asset and resource utilisation. Purpose of the Role Farmbot is looking for an experienced Logistics Manager to join our Logistics team based out of our head office, in Roseville. Key Responsibilities Coordinate with freight forwarders and carriers to arrange transportation in pallets of goods in Australia and overseas if required. Work closely with freight forwarders and custom authorities to resolve any compliance issues. Planning and forecasting national outbound shipment. Provide reports to the logistics weekly management meeting. Follow accurately documentation/filing/stock processes implemented by different departments to guarantee an updated pipeline of each order. Review weekly stock control report in Finished goods. Support providing ETAs to customer service department with accurate and up‑to‑date information on the orders status. Resolve issues related with shipping delays, open cases and follow up with freight forwarders. Overlook daily shipment if needed. Invoicing customer based of shipments and payment terms. Training of new logistics assistant. Documentation of packaging procedure. If required, assist with daily packing of devices. Purchasing of Logistics miscellaneous items (for packaging and ordering of Installation Guides). Desirable Experience and Skills 4-5 years previous experience in logistics management, preferably within the manufacturing, agricultural, transport or logistics industry. A customer‑focused mindset with strong communication skills. The ability to liaise with all levels of the business including key internal and external stakeholders, eg., customers, suppliers and freight forwarders. Strong time management, organizational and multitasking skills, with outstanding attention to detail and accuracy. A collaborative nature with the ability to work in a quick paced and often high‑pressure environment. Well‑developed analytical thinking and problem‑solving skills.
