In This Role You Will A key focus of this role involves providing a best‑in‑class customer and client (e.g. advisers, trustees, fund administrators) experience, including regular communication about the status of claims and managing expectations, to deliver on quality health and claim outcomes. Independently manage a portfolio of TPD and IP claims end‑to‑end Assess, analyse, calculate and finalise claims payments Engage external treating doctors, rehabilitation consultants and in‑house medical and legal specialists to deliver timely outcomes for our customers Provide exceptional customer service in accordance with our philosophy, policy and claims procedures Participate in case conferences, peer case discussions, and instruct third‑party service providers Qualifications Life insurance claims management experience within Group policy – IP and/or TPD claims experience is ideal or; Workers Compensation or Return to Work claims management experience with an Allied Health background Strong analytical, problem‑solving & time‑management skills Excellent communication & empathy to support customers during challenging times Solid understanding of injuries, illnesses and treatment Additional Information TAL is one of Australia’s leading life insurers, committed to inclusion, and supporting the career growth of our diverse workforce.
