You’ll be the senior technical escalation point for the Service Desk, solving complex issues, driving innovation, and elevating the capability of the team. This role will see you providing both remote and onsite support, delivering expert‑level outcomes with service excellence at the centre of every interaction. \Day‑to‑Day Taking full ownership of complex, high‑impact technical escalations Identifying root causes & implementing sustainable, long‑term solutions Designing and delivering advanced system architecture across client environments Overseeing security administration, virtualisation, integrations & deployments Delivering modern cloud solutions across Microsoft 365, Azure & hybrid setups Leading advanced systems integrations and custom solutions for client needs Creating and maintaining high‑quality technical documentation, guides & workflows Identifying trends & recommending improvements to processes and technology Coaching and mentoring Level 1 & 2 engineers to build capability and accountability About You You’re a highly skilled technical problem solver who thrives on making things better for clients and the people around you.You’re calm under pressure, a strong communicator, and a natural mentor. What You’ll Bring – Technical Expertise Advanced troubleshooting across desktops, servers & networks (Windows/Mac/Linux) Strong infrastructure experience: DNS, DHCP, VPNs, firewalls, routing & switching Expertise across Microsoft 365, Azure AD, Exchange, SharePoint & Teams Strong security capabilities: endpoint protection, malware remediation, backup/DR Cloud experience: Azure (required), AWS, and SaaS environments Experience with virtualisation technologies and modern deployment methods Ability to design, configure & implement advanced system architectures ITIL understanding Leadership Capabilities Proven mentoring and coaching experience Strong communication, problem‑solving & analytical skills Ability to collaborate, lead by example & influence technical quality Required Certifications Microsoft Certified: Azure Solutions Architect Expert (required) Microsoft 365 Enterprise Administrator Expert (required) Azure Virtual Desktop Specialty (highly regarded) AWS Certified Solutions Architect – Professional (desirable) Degree or Diploma in IT (preferred) Pre‑Employment Requirements As part of KMTech’s compliance and governance standards, the successful candidate must complete: National Police Check NDIS Worker Screening Check Working With Children Check Work Arrangement To support onboarding and knowledge transfer: First 6 months (probation): Fully in‑office After probation: eligibility for KMTech’s hybrid Work‑From‑Home process (subject to performance and policy requirements) Be careful – Don’t provide your bank or credit card details when applying for jobs.
