Sam the Paving Man Pty Ltd – Greenacre NSW We are seeking an experienced and organised Accounts Coordinator to join our team. In this full‑time position based in Greenacre, NSW, you will be across all aspects of the company's accounts payable and receivable functions. This is a critical role that will contribute directly to the financial health and operations of our growing business. What you’ll be doing Receive, review, and verify invoices and purchase orders. Match invoices with purchase orders and delivery notes. Ensure proper coding and approval before payment. Payments Prepare and process electronic transfers and payments. Monitor payment schedules to ensure timely settlement of accounts. Reconcile accounts payable transactions. Prepare workpapers for month‑end and year‑end close, including accruals and reconciliations. Compliance Ensure adherence to internal controls, company policies, and regulatory requirements (e.g., GST, tax compliance). Support audit processes by providing accurate documentation and explanations. Document Management Scan finance team documents and ensure correct digital storage and filing. Maintain organized and secure document archives in line with company policy. Manage payments and revenue for café operations to ensure accurate financial tracking and reporting. Reconcile café transactions and maintain proper documentation for internal and external reporting. Budgeting & Forecasting Assist in budgeting and forecasting processes by providing accurate AP data and insights. Support financial planning activities with timely and reliable information. Respond to vendor inquiries promptly. Maintain positive relationships with suppliers. Reporting Assist with month‑end closing and reporting. Provide accurate data for financial statements and management reports. What we’re looking for Minimum 3 years’ experience in an accounts coordinator or similar role, preferably within the construction or trades industry. Proficiency in accounting software and tools. Strong numerical and analytical skills. Experience in AP / AR and general accounting functions. Good communication and organisational skills. Why Join Us Competitive salary.
