Y Victoria is currently seeking a permanent Coordinator for our Before and After School Care service at Mernda Central College . This is a permanent full-time position (38 hours per week) with working hours from Monday to Friday - 6.30 AM - 9.00 AM and 2.30 PM - 6.30 PM , with ample administration time during the day. The successful candidate will be supporting Full time at Macleod Recreation Centre during School Holiday Programs. The hourly rate for the position is $35 (ACECQA approved Diploma or equivalent) and $41 p/hour (ACECQA Approved Degree or equivalent) + ECEC retention payment + 12% super. OSHC Coordinators are responsible for: Overseeing the daily operations and strategic development and growth of the program; Working with the Regional OSHC Coordinator to identify and respond to service improvement opportunities; Creating a positive relationship with the school, families, local community groups and contract partners; Managing a team of educators who support you in operating a high quality and fun Outside of School Hours Care program What’s in it for me? You’ll need to have either completed or be working towards a Diploma or tertiary-level qualification as determined by ACECQA (see the link below) You’ll need to have, or be willing to obtain a First Aid in an Education & Care Setting certificate (or equivalent) You’ll need to have, or be willing to obtain a valid Victorian Working with Children’s Check – employee check You’ll need to have, or be willing to obtain a Food Safety Supervisor certificate within the first month of your employment There are a variety of qualifications that ACECQA has approved to work within OSHC ranging from education to community services to healthcare.
