Economic Development Officer Doncaster, Victoria Full time fixed-term position until 30 June Band 6, $98,436 - $107,293 plus 12% Superannuation. Responsibilities Design and deliver innovative projects from the Economic Development Strategy. Establish and develop trader groups providing expert advice and guidance to build governance and operational capabilities. Build operational partnerships between Council and local businesses, trader groups, and activity centre users to develop vibrant places. Map activity centres to identify unique and marketable qualities of each. Work directly with internal departments to facilitate cross‑Council collaboration and shared outcomes. Take responsibility for project design and delivery across both the business sector and the wider community. Qualifications Strong engagement skills and the ability to influence and collaborate with stakeholders. Project management skills to design and deliver innovative projects. A commitment to excellent customer service principles. A positive mindset and a desire to make a difference through continuous improvement. Understanding of economic principles and their application to practical settings with demonstrated outcomes. Commitment to inclusion and meeting current and future business and community needs. Hold a tertiary or post‑graduate qualification and / or job‑related experience including project management and stakeholder engagement.
