About the role: In this role, you’ll support high-profile Defence and advanced technology programs, with a focus on the Missiles & Fire Control portfolio. You’ll provide clear, practical compliance advice to enable effective decision-making and successful program delivery. You’ll manage the flow of goods and technical data across domestic and international boundaries, ensuring compliance with Australian and international regulations. You’ll work closely with internal teams, customers and government regulators to proactively manage EXIM compliance. Key responsibilities: Provide advice on Export/Import (EXIM) compliance matters Ensure compliance with Australian trade and export control legislation Review and advise on export/supply applications prior to submission Support bids, enquiries and stakeholder requirements Provide guidance on Incoterms, FTAs and duty programs Maintain training records and support process improvements About you: You’re motivated, adaptable and comfortable working independently or remotely, with strong attention to detail and accountability. Experience in export/import or trade compliance roles Knowledge of Australian Customs and Border Force processes Experience with logistics, freight forwarding and customs brokers Special requirements: Applicants must be eligible to obtain and maintain an Australian Defence Security Clearance and employment may be contingent on the provision of further personal information including citizenship to ensure compliance with international export control legislation and regulations.
