About the role Lead, mentor, and support a team of schedulers to ensure daily targets and service standards are met. Oversee the creation and maintenance of staff rosters and shift allocations, ensuring compliance with current processes and BaptistCare Enterprise Agreement. Liaise with area managers, care facilitators and other stakeholders to support client changing priorities and urgent requests. Monitor and report on team performance, identifying areas for process improvement, lead supervision of staff, team meetings and service improvement meetings with area managers. Handle complaints, escalations and resolve scheduling conflicts in a timely and effective manner. Train new team members and facilitate ongoing development within the scheduling team. What you’ll bring Excellent organisational and time management skills Strong communication abilities, both verbal and written Ability to work under pressure and juggle competing priorities Familiarity with scheduling software or willingness to learn Positive attitude and problem-solving mindset with a commitment to delivering high-quality outcomes Ability to travel to site locations to be with schedulers, as required Understand and value BaptistCare’s Christian identity Previous experience in a service scheduling team leader role (desirable) Knowledge of Home Care programs and funding (desirable) About Us We are proud to be part of the merged care organisation that will be known nationally as BaptistCare.
