Transport Allocator – Laverton North, VIC The Role / Opportunity Toll Group are seeking a highly organised and experienced Transport Allocator to join our dynamic logistics team and working within a niche market of a major hazard facility. In this pivotal role, you will be responsible for the end-to-end coordination of all interstate deliveries, ensuring seamless execution across rail and road transport, including third‑party subcontractors. You’ll play a key role in managing container movements, finalising service delivery plans (SDPs), and driving performance through accurate DIFOT reporting and proactive POD management. A Day in the Life of a Transport Allocator Coordinate all interstate deliveries by securing and confirming rail slots and trips. Allocate and manage road transport via subcontractors and internal fleet. Finalise Service Delivery Plans (SDPs) for all interstate movements. Manage container logistics and book wharf container slots via VBS. Oversee pickup and dehire of empty containers, whilst coordinating one‑way rail container movements. Monitor and report on DIFOT performance with daily reporting and analysis. Support Fleet Controllers as needed to ensure operational efficiency. What you’ll need to succeed Proven experience in a transport allocation or logistics coordination role. Strong understanding of interstate freight operations (rail and road). Familiarity with VBS systems and container handling processes. Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills. High attention to detail and a proactive approach to problem‑solving.
