A rare and exciting opportunity is now available for an Electrical Design Engineer to secure a position within our highly motivated Design Team. About the Role As an Electrical Design Engineer at Plan B Services, you will play a key role in delivering high-quality electrical designs and technical solutions for major land development and infrastructure projects. This position combines hands‑on design work, teamwork, and client engagement to ensure our projects meet technical, safety, and compliance requirements. You will work closely with the Design Supervisor and a collaborative engineering team supporting our wider group. Our Projects Include: Large‑scale residential, commercial, and industrial subdivisions. Embedded networks and private community developments. High‑value project negotiations, consultancy, and delivery. To be successful in this role, you will: Hold a relevant Electrical Engineering qualification. Have 1-3 years of Design/Engineering experience in electrical distribution. Be experienced with AS3000 Private Wiring standards and SIRs. Be capable of managing a project portfolio and understanding client requirements effectively. Have exceptional communication skills, be self‑driven, and a strong team player. Be highly organised, self‑driven, and collaborative. Valued experience or knowledge in: Victorian Electrical Distribution Networks. New Residential Communities and the Land Development Industry. Private retirement living communities. AutoCAD experience (preferable). Maintain a valid Victorian driver’s licence or its Australian equivalent.
