Cleaner In Charge – Department of Education, Western Australia Job Summary: Permanent part‑time 0.75FTE position commencing Term 1, 2026. Location: Wungong Primary School, Hilbert, Wungong, Western Australia. The campus is state‑of‑the‑art with air‑conditioned classrooms, modern technology, and multiple playgrounds. Role Overview: The successful applicant will organise, supervise and liaise with school cleaning staff and the relevant manager. Responsibilities include cleaning internal and external areas, ordering and maintaining stock and equipment, and ensuring safe cleaning procedures and practices. A proactive, high‑standard focus on a clean, safe learning environment is essential. Responsibilities: Organise and supervise cleaning staff. Coordinate cleaning schedules and tasks. Order, maintain and manage cleaning stock and equipment. Ensure compliance with safe cleaning procedures, methods and practices. Maintain a visually pleasing and safe environment for students, staff and visitors.
