About the role Handle a portfolio of claims from start to finish, keeping clear communication with customers and ensuring accurate processing within your authority. Follow AAL’s Claims Management Process and stay updated on relevant legislation to make fair, consistent, and compliant decisions throughout each claim. Review and authorise payments for team members within delegated authority, ensuring compliance with AAL standards to minimise leakage and control claim costs. Help develop team skills by coaching colleagues and maintaining strong, positive relationships with internal teams and external stakeholders. Comply with the General Insurance Code of Practice by following processes and tailoring your communication to meet customer needs effectively. About you 3 to 5 years of experience in claims management with a strong understanding of technical claims concepts and processes. Experienced in handling large loss property claims across multiple insurance products in collaborative teams. Strong at organising and prioritising work, spotting details, interpreting complex information, and communicating clearly with empathy and professionalism. A passion for leveraging emerging technologies to stay ahead in a fast‑changing digital world. Previous Catastrophe claims experience highly regarded.
