Reporting to the Officer Site Lead, Children’s Therapy Services, this role will be responsible for providing support, referral and advocacy for families with young children facing challenging circumstances. The FSS program involves providing in home and community supports with a range of scaled interventions depending on the family’s needs, in a child-centred and family focussed way. This role will be based out of our Officer office. About you Through your genuine and caring nature you are able to foster and maintain positive, sensitive and confidential relationships between children, staff, parents/caregivers and volunteers. You are able to successfully advocate, negotiate and problem solve with an ability to develop rapport and positive working relationships with stakeholders and families from a broad range of social and cultural backgrounds. About us CTS provide therapeutic intervention and capacity building supports to children aged 0-10 years and their families. We service families through the NDIS, Department of Education’s Continuity of Support program and also provide capacity building supports to educators through the School Readiness Funding (SRF) program. We are committed to best practice within the early childhood intervention space and deliver our services through the Key Worker model by using a Transdisciplinary Practice (TDP) approach and for more complex cases, a Team Around the Child (TAC) approach.
