Join the Education Innovation Exchange team at Swinburne University Full‑time, 9‑month fixed‑term position at our Hawthorn campus HEW Level 7 salary + 17% super and staff benefits About The Role The Education Innovation Exchange (EIX) team at Swinburne is seeking a proactive Learning Technologist (Learning Ecosystems) to support the successful implementation of key digital learning tools as part of Swinburne’s First Year Refresh Program (FYRP), with an initial focus on the FeedbackFruits suite. In this role you will contribute to Phase 1 IT readiness, documentation of functional requirements, user acceptance testing (UAT), and pilot delivery, ensuring technical, operational and educator‑facing readiness for institutional rollout. Reporting to the Manager, Learning Ecosystems and collaborating with Learning Transformation staff, you will coordinate across FeedbackFruits and other learning tools, provide technical and operational documentation, and collaborate with IT Services, Information Security and Procurement to ensure compliance and quality assurance standards are met. About You Demonstrated experience in working with Learning Management Systems (LMSs) and Learning Technology; experience with Canvas is preferred. Proven experience coordinating pilot implementations or technology rollouts in tertiary contexts. Ability to gather and document technical requirements and support cross‑functional teams (IT, Security, Procurement) with vendor engagement and UAT processes. Capability to train and support academic and teaching staff in the use of the Canvas LMS and learning technologies for online and blended learning and assessment, and to respond to support tickets. Interest in exploring and adopting innovative learning technologies and collaborating with small and large teams. Qualifications Relevant degree and/or relevant experience in the areas of technology enhanced learning.
