The Absafe Group is a multi-disciplinary company that works across a broad range of industry sectors providing Specialist Contracting, Engineering, Safety Equipment sales & servicing . THE ROLE Dispatch Coordinator – Hallam Showroom Absafe is seeking an organised and motivated Dispatch Coordinator to join our Retail Team at our Hallam showroom. This role is based in our warehouse, supporting the sales and servicing of specialist safety equipment. We supply a comprehensive range of products including height-safety and fall-protection gear, gas detection equipment, respiratory solutions and confined-space safety systems. About the Role As our Dispatch Coordinator, you will play a key role in ensuring customers receive their orders accurately and on time. Your responsibilities will include: Picking, packing, and dispatching daily online orders Managing large B2B orders, including collating, preparing, and shipping Receiving and processing incoming stock into the warehouse and inventory management system Maintaining accuracy and attention to detail in a fast-paced environment Assisting with incoming phone inquiries and supporting walk-in customers when sales staff are unavailable This is a busy and hands‑on role suited to someone who thrives in a dynamic environment, takes pride in their accuracy, and enjoys being an essential part of a team. The Candidate We’re looking for a driven and organised team member with a strong eye for detail and a commitment to quality. Previous dispatch experience is highly desirable , and experience in Height Safety or Rope Access is advantageous but not essential. The ideal candidate is a proactive team player who can adapt quickly when urgency is required and is comfortable taking initiative in a busy environment. Key Responsibilities Processing and dispatching daily customer orders Receipting and recording incoming goods into our warehouse system Assisting the team as needed to maintain smooth daily operations Answering incoming phone calls and providing excellent customer support You will receive on-the-job training , ongoing mentoring , and support from a friendly and collaborative team. Qualifications and experience Experience in dispatch is prefered. MYOB Acumatia experience is an advantage Previous experience in a safety equipment role would be highly advantageous A forklift licence would be an advantage but is not essential #J-18808-Ljbffr
