TMP Principal Policy Officer, Queensland Health Are you looking for a new adventure? Come join Population Health Division as a Principal Policy Officer where you will be responsible for supporting the delivery of strategic initiatives and divisional priorities, including the current review of the Clinical Services Capability Framework, which will involve supporting CSCF Governance Committee and its sub-committees, providing guidance and recommendations for amendments and updates, and coordinating the development of new CSCF modules and private health facilities companion documents. Your key responsibilities: Provide timely, high-quality strategic policy and program advice and support in relation to the strategic initiatives and the advancement of divisional priorities informed by research, analysis and relevant quantitative and qualitative data, ensuring consistency and alignment with the departments policy and guidelines. Manage and maintain strong, positive relationships across government and with the private and non-government sectors, including through the ongoing coordination of multiple committees, utilising highly developed communication skills and ensuring effective outcomes are achieved. Coordinate and lead the development, review and continuous improvement of complex CSCF modules, private health facilities companion documents, and other documents, and contribute to the development of options for best practice in the planning and/or provision of health services. Role fit The essential requirements for this role are: Proven skills in researching and analysing complex issues and providing high quality and timely advice and options to internal and external stakeholders. Demonstrated high level written and oral communication skills, including experience providing general executive, secretariat and project support to committees and other advisory bodies. Demonstrated experience developing and maintaining sustainable and productive relationships with stakeholders to achieve strategic objectives and outcomes for government in complex and sensitive environments.
