You’re a Social Media Director in our Public Relations team. Reporting to the Senior Account Director, you'll take strategic ownership of social media initiatives across multiple brands. With your expertise in both paid and organic social, you'll lead planning efforts, identify growth opportunities, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver innovative social solutions for premium brands. You’ll be a key architect in building an interconnected ecosystem—aligning social, influencer, content, and PR strategies to deliver integrated, high-impact campaigns that elevate brand storytelling and reach. A Day in the Life Develop and implement social media strategies across multiple brands, balancing paid and organic approaches to maximise engagement. Design and orchestrate ecosystem campaigns that seamlessly connect social media efforts with influencer activations, content creation, and PR initiatives—ensuring each touchpoint amplifies the others for greater cultural and consumer impact. Lead community management across our clients’ social channels, identify emerging themes, and promptly elevate potential issues to clients with recommendations. Lead trend monitoring and response planning, identifying opportunities to keep brands relevant and culturally connected in the fast-moving social landscape. Oversee UGC (user-generated content) sourcing and implementation, building authentic brand connections through community voices. Collaborate with strategy teams to craft compelling content calendars that align with broader marketing objectives and campaign goals. Own social media performance metrics, analysing data to optimise campaigns and presenting insights to clients. Manage relationships with platform partners and influencers, identifying strategic collaboration opportunities that extend brand reach. Collaborate with Business Management and PR teams to manage client projects, ensuring seamless execution end to end. How will we know if you are the one? You have a strategic mindset that can see beyond individual posts to develop cohesive social campaigns that drive real results. Your deep understanding of the social media landscape means you can anticipate platform changes and emerging trends before they become mainstream. You're passionate about the intersection of data and creativity, using performance metrics to inform strategic decisions while never losing sight of what makes content compelling. You understand the nuances of different social platforms and how to tailor content strategies accordingly. You excel at stakeholder management, confidently presenting social strategies to senior clients and translating complex analytics into actionable insights. You're a natural collaborator who builds strong relationships across teams, from creative to strategy to business management. You’re comfortable leading in a fast-paced environment, prioritising effectively while maintaining high standards. You're equally adept at big-picture thinking and detailed execution planning, ensuring your strategies come to life exactly as envisioned. Other things that will make you excel in this role Experience working with premium consumer brands, knowledge of alcohol or beverage brands is a plus. Strong understanding of paid social media strategy and implementation. Attention to detail that is second to none. Experience with social analytics platforms and performance reporting.
