We are seeking a dynamic HR Advisor for a lifestyle company based in South Yarra. If you an experienced emerging HR professional with a passion for people and thrive in a fast‑paced environment, then this is a great opportunity to join a positive and energetic team. You will be responsible for supporting two hospitality businesses within the portfolio. The role will provide hands‑on HR support across the full employee lifecycle and will be central to maintaining consistency in people practices across the venues as well as providing expectations and the realities of a seven‑day trading environment. Key Responsibilities Providing advice to leaders on all aspects of team performance, including providing relevant data and insight to leaders on core people data Overseeing the delivery and continuous improvement of all facets of the employee life cycle Providing ER & IR advice to leaders and team members Interpreting and applying multiple industry awards Championing a culture of safety to prevent workplace injuries Overseeing the development and delivery of a great onboarding experience Partnering with leaders to support hiring and internal moves Delivering talent mapping and succession planning for key leadership roles Ensuring compliance training and reporting meets the required standards Handling complaints and managing investigations with professionalism and confidentiality Managing the third‑party relationships with the payroll provider Mentoring and coaching the HR team Who you are We are looking for an emerging HR professional who is well‑presented, confident, wellness‑minded and has built strong foundational capability and ready to step into a broader, more independent advisory remit. You will have sound technical HR competence, strong interpersonal capability and the adaptability required to operate effectively in a dynamic, service‑led environment. As well as a can‑do attitude, strong initiative, and are naturally discreet and professional in their approach. Note you will be working onsite in the South Yarra office five days a week.
