From humble beginnings to over 40 million donuts sold, we're scaling fast—rolling out into 7-Eleven stores and Bunnings nationwide and expanding our own retail footprint across the country. We’re looking for an energic HR Advisor to join our growing People & Culture team and support the Head of HR in making Daniel’s an even better place to work. You’ll play a key role in keeping our HR operations running smoothly — from HR systems, compliance to learning, reporting, and employee experience. If you love a fast-paced environment where no two days (or donuts) are ever the same, this is your chance to make a real impact What You’ll Be Doing (with a smile) You’ll be the go‑to HR sidekick — helping sprinkle support, structure, and smiles across all things people From shaping policies to systems, your work helps make Daniel’s Donuts an amazing place to work. Partner with the Head of HR: Be their right hand in rolling out exciting HR strategies, projects, and people programs that make our culture even sweeter. Champion learning: Keep track of eLearning completion and create new courses when needed. Ensuring the work keeps flowing by booking forklift, first aid, fire safety and food safety training for the relevant workers. Make the data count: Build HR reporting like a pro, turning numbers into insights that help the business shine. Coach with care: Help leaders handle simple performance issues with practical solutions. Dig into the details: Support workplace investigations with professionalism, fairness, and confidentiality. Bring roles to life: Draft and update Position Descriptions that capture what makes each role special (and compliant). Clarity creator: Support the review and update of HR policies, procedures, guides, and communication materials to keep them clear, consistent, and compliant. From first day to farewell: Support the full employee journey from onboarding through role changes, to offboarding, making sure every stage is handled smoothly, accurately recorded (both in systems and letters) and well communicated. Stay compliant: Assist with Award compliance across both our Retail and Manufacturing teams. Tech whisperer: Help troubleshoot HR software issues for managers and the team. Keep our digital systems running like clockwork. Audit with accuracy: Regularly check our HRIS data to ensure it’s neat, correct, and compliant. What You Bring 2–3 years’ experience as an HR Advisor or HR Specialist A qualification in HR (Degree, Diploma or Cert IV) Great organisational skills and a sharp eye for detail The ability to juggle multiple tasks while keeping your cool A collaborative spirit and a positive, can‑do attitude Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint) A love for people — and maybe for donuts too Who You’ll Work With You’ll collaborate closely with: Our Retail and Manufacturing teams The Support Office Payroll, IT, and our amazing store network At Daniel’s, we believe that great culture is the icing on the donut.
