If you believe you are a candidate with potential, have a demonstrated skillset in IT, possess exemplary customer service, thrive in a fast paced environment, and feel you can be truly brilliant in the below role, we want to hear from you As a Technician in our Education team you will have responsibility for the following: Providing a high level of service and advice, troubleshooting in a timely manner Ensuring agreed levels of service are maintained in the provision of technical support, maintenance and repairs Strong abilities in time management and work prioritisation Undertaking preventative maintenance and routine repairs of all ICT equipment Installing new equipment and software Ability to interpret, apply and follow guidance material Work effectively both independently and within a team environment, sharing skills and knowledge Ability to work independently through your tasks and also able to work effectively within a team environment Maintaining productive working relationships with stakeholders Developing and maintaining site documentation in accordance with our company standards As a Technician, you will be able to evidence skills in the following technical areas: Active Directory Group Policy DNS DHCP Windows Server 2016 and above Windows 11 Office365 Virtualization – Hyper‑V / Add/Remove/Reconfigure Virtual machines / Migrate virtual machines / Backup and recover virtual machines/guest files using Veeam Backup & Replication Networking – including configuring switching Desktop and laptop hardware support Printers and photocopiers We are looking to fill the following roles at this level: two (2) position immediately Create an order of merit for the remainder of 2024 and first half of 2025 Please note that these positions are based in Greater Brisbane, Logan and Redland City. There may also be opportunities on the North side of Brisbane. The successful applicant must live centrally to these regions and will require a valid licence and reliable vehicle to attend site.
