Do you speak Macedonian? Your time and friendship could mean the world to an older person in your community. We are looking for friendly volunteers to visit Macedonian people living in local aged care homes. Visits might involve chatting, playing cards, helping with an activity or going for a short walk. We’re seeking people who are: Friendly, kind and willing to commit to bringing happiness through regular visits. Comfortable interacting with people who experience the ups and downs that come the ageing process. If this sounds like you, we'd love to discuss this opportunity further and answer your questions. We value our volunteers and will do all we can to ensure you love being part of our team. The Aged Care Volunteer Visitors Scheme (ACVVS) is funded by the Australian Government and delivered by MS Plus. MS Plus is a child safe organisation with a Child Safety and Wellbeing Policy. Category Seniors & Aged Care Commitment Regular – more than 6 months Type of Work Companionship & Social Support, Seniors & Aged Care Time Required One hour, fortnightly visits at a time that suits you.
