Department of Families, Fairness & Housing VIC – Melbourne VIC Overview The After-Hours Coordinator (DDSO4) provides specialised practice leadership and/or management of services that support people with disabilities across their lifecycle and in all domains of life, enabling access to a quality life with dignity, respect and social inclusion, in the least restrictive environment. Accountabilities Provide practice leadership, offering specialist services and advice in relation to clients, and work closely with other service providers or as a sole operator at a divisional or broader statewide level. Advocate within the broader community on behalf of clients and their families to support inclusion, participation, respect for rights and a commitment to effective service delivery. Work with complex clients to provide access to resources intended to ensure an agreed level of care and quality of life. Working in Rural Victoria Incentive This is an NDIS Risk Assessed Role and a Key Personnel Role. Staff appointed to this role may not commence until they have an NDIS Worker Screening Clearance and have provided this detail for recording. The role also requires a Working with Children Check.
