The Supervisor will facilitate the continuation and honor the Mission of the Sisters of St John of God through the provision of high quality, compassionate and distinctive care for our patients and their families.**The Position*** Be aware of and work in accordance with SJGHC policies and procedures, including Equal Employment Opportunity, Confidentiality and Privacy.* Ensure Equal Employment Opportunity, Confidentiality and Privacy policies are available and adhered to.* Acts as a role model for nursing staff by coordinating theoretical knowledge with clinical practice and by being available as a resource person for management, clinical and social issues.* Evaluates the clinical expertise of staff and assigns responsibility accordingly.* Accepts accountability for storage and usage of Drugs of Addiction and medication by ensuring compliance with government regulations and Nurses’ Board Policy.* Attends Senior Nurses meetings and contributes to the management and on-going development of the hospital.* Ensures adequate supplies are available for staff and that equipment is in working order.
