About The Role The Statewide Clinical Trial Management System (CTMS) program is a digital infrastructure initiative managed by the NSW Health Office for Health and Medical Research. A CTMS is software designed to support the delivery of clinical trials, NSW Health procured this software for use at all public hospitals and health services involved in clinical trials. The position is responsible for high level program support for the Statewide CTMS, including financial, operational, and stakeholder management in line with project milestones. Occasional travel is required to promote and support CTMS activities at the state or national level. Crown Clerk 9/10, starting salary from $129,464 – $142,665 plus Super and annual leave loading, with a 35‑hour work week, principle work location - 1 Reserve Road, St Leonards. What You'll Be Doing Manage project activities associated with the Statewide CTMS, including integration with the single digital patient record program (SDPR), and other key digital infrastructure. Develop project plans, business cases, manage budgets, and meet reporting and delivery requirements. Work with the central CTMS team to ensure consistent and high quality system operation, staff training and support, and successfully deliver on project milestones and deliverables. Prepare and provide accurate and high‑quality written advice and data relating to health and medical research. Contribute to broader management processes of OHMR including budget development, program management, policy development, stakeholder engagement and business planning, and foster effective communication and information exchange across the Office and sector. Develop relationships and collaborate and consult with key stakeholders to assist with developing, implementing and evaluating initiatives related to stakeholder needs and interests and to maximise the achievement of Government and NSW Health goals and needs. About You Relevant tertiary qualifications or demonstrated equivalent professional experience. Background in health and medical research within the public health system and understanding of challenges and opportunities within the sector. Experience with clinical trial delivery within the public or private sector. Demonstrated skills and experience in managing all stages of the project cycle for government‑led programmes. Skilled communicator who can tailor advice, presentations and reports for diverse audiences, while effectively collaborating and negotiating to achieve consensus. Demonstrated experience with government processes including briefs, policy directives, financial delegations, risk management, procurement and expenditure, etc.Experience with clinical trial management systems, and other ICT platforms is preferred but not required.
